Fit For Rivals is an American rock band, founded in 2008 in Jacksonville, Florida.

The band formed when Renee Phoenix and Thomas Amason met during an audition looking for band mates. The band formed shortly thereafter and within two months released their first album. The first album was recorded in a bedroom in Kingsland, Georgia by Engineer Stan Martell and produced by Amason. Though successful through word of mouth and internet exposure, the first album was merely an experiment.

The first official single "Damage" was released in 2009. The second single "Crash" appeared in the pay-per-view WWE: Over The Limit. This song appeared in the movie Legendary. In 2010, Fit For Rivals wrote over 60 songs, recording only five of them.

The second album is expected to have deeper roots in straight forward rock and roll, 60's punk, and heavily influenced by the analog recordings of the past.
