State Route 118, a state highway in Alabama, is a 55 mile long route in the northwestern part of the state. Prior to the completion of sections of Corridor X/Future Interstate 22, S.R. 118 served only as the unsigned partner route of U.S. Highway 278 between the Mississippi state line near Sulligent and Guin. As new sections of Corridor X have opened, U.S. Highway 78 has been rerouted onto the new limited access highway, and the old sections of U.S. 78 have been designated as S.R. 118, thus extending the route eastward by nearly 40 miles. The current eastern terminus of the route is west of Jasper at the junction with Alabama State Route 69.
