Mafikeng Game Reserve is a 4800 Hectare tourist attraction. It is flat veld comprised of the combination of Kalahari and Acacia bushveld.

The entrance to Mafikeng Game Reserve is hidden, with insufficient and/or misleading signage. The game viewing entrance can be found through the main gate off Jacaranda Drive in the city of Mafikeng. Game viewing is bountiful as the reserve is saturated with Rhino, Giraffe, Gemsbok, Buffalo, Wildebeest, springbuck and other game.

A game drive in this wild wonder can last anything from 2 to 6 hours. A romantic "Mafikeng Sunset Over The Bushveld" can be enjoyed at around 18h00 before the 19h00 closing time
