Kenneth Bigley, a 62 year old British citizen from Liverpool, was kidnapped in Iraq in September 2004. A video was released on September 22 showing Bigley pleading for his life. His kidnapping has received international attention for the callous media maniuplation employed by the hostage-takers, lead by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.
