Matt Hollywood is an American indie rock guitarist and singer. He is the founding member of the Portland-based band, The Out Crowd and was, for a time, a bass guitar player in The Brian Jonestown Massacre. He also appears on the 2004 documentary DiG! with The Brian Jonestown Massacre. He composed and sang several of the Brian Jonestown Massacre's songs, notably "Oh Lord", and "Not if You Were the Last Dandy on Earth"; the latter of which is famous not only for parodying Dandy Warhols' single Not if You Were the Last Junkie on Earth, but also for fooling the media of a supposed feud between the aforementioned Warhols and the Brian Jonestown Massacre. Hollywood has said of the song: "It always amazed me how this song got taken as evidence that Anton (Newcombe) was 'stalking' the Dandys - since he didn't even write it."
