Alexi Giannoulias

Alexi Giannoulias is the Democratic candidate for Illinois State Treasurer in the 2006 election. He is the son of Alexis Giannoulias a Greek immigrant who founded the well known Broadway Bank in the late 1970's. The bank is under criticism [citation needed] for loans made to reputed mobsters while Giannoulias worked there.

Alex Giannoulias is not supported by the Illinois Democratic Party.
