Swetes, also spelled Sweet's, is the sixth largest town in Antigua and Barbuda. It is located in the south of the island of Antigua, to the north of Liberta on the road to Old Road and the southwest coast of the island. As of 2012, it has an estimated population of 1,849.[1]

Swetes is the birthplace of George Alexander McGuire, Patriarch of the African Orthodox Church. It is also the birthplace of Antiguan and West Indian cricket legend Curtly Ambrose, who retired from the game in 1999. He is now the bowling mentor for the Windies.
