Petrit Halilaj is a Kosovar visual artist living and working between Germany, Kosovo and Italy.[1]

His work is based on documents, stories, and memories with reference to the history of Kosovo.[2][3]

Petrit Halilaj represented the Republic of Kosovo at the 55th Venice Biennale in 2013.[4][5] He received the Mario Merz Prize[1] and the special mention of the jury at the 57th Venice Biennale, both in 2017.[5]

Together with Alvaro Urbano, Petrit Halilaj is a tutor at Beaux-Arts de Paris, in Paris, France.[6]

Collections

His work is included in the collection of the Museo Ettore Fico in Turin Italy.[7]
