Berenstain Bears

The Berenstain Bears are a family of fictional bear characters appearing in a series of childrens' books written by Stan and Jan Berenstain.

The family consists of: Papa Bear, the lumberjack father, Mama Bear, his homemaker wife, and their two children, Brother and Sister Bear (Prior to Sister's birth Brother's name was "Small Bear.")

The Berenstain Bears have appeared in dozens of stories, both in novel and picture books format. They also appeared in a short-lived cartoon, and a variety of edutainment software.
