The line ran from Georgiana to Geneva, Alabama, a distance of 76 miles and interchanged with CSX at Georgiana.

On June 11, 2001, the Alabama and Florida Railway sold a 33 mile segment of its track from Georgiana, AL to Andalusia, AL, to the Three Notch Railroad Co. (TNR), which is owned by Gulf & Ohio Railways.

CSX maintains trackage rights over the line.

The Alabama and Florida Railroad also does local switching at Andalusia for the Andalusia and Conecuh Railroad.
