Alchorneopsis is a genus of flowering plants in the family Euphorbiaceae. It "is a probably monotypic genus" containing only the species Alchorneopsis floribunda.[1] Some authorities include Alchorneopsis portoricensis,[2] and others classify it as a synonym of A. floribunda.[3]
A. floribunda is distributed in parts of Central and South America.[1] A. portoricensis is endemic to Puerto Rico.[4]
