Ericka White

Ericka Denise White (born April 11, 1972) is an American evangelist, seminarian and pastor-designate of One Church[1], a non-denominational church plant in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She is the host of the Christian radio program, Revealed.

White is also a [2] and CEO of Eagle Investments, Inc.[3], a private wealth management firm she founded to manage her family's assets and investments.

Biography

Early Life and Family

White was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Leon and June Booker. Her parents divorced when she was nine years old due to her father's continuing bout with alcoholism which contributed to his death in 1998. She often makes references during her sermons about her poverty-stricken adolecent years while being reared by her single mother. She graduated from East High School in 1990 alongside Jermaine White whom she befriended in the ninth grade. The two became teenage parents by having their first child in the twelth grade. They later [4] in 1992 and had their second child in 2003.

White worked in Cleveland area investment banks including McDonald Investments, Merrill Lynch and NatCity Investments for 13 years maintaining trust accounts, processing securities and supporting investment managers and brokers. In 2000, she passed the Series 7, General Securities Representative exam after four attempts. In 2002, she left her corporate career to manage her husband's business interests.

Christian Ministry and Seminary

In 1992, White became involved in Christian ministry while working as a youth ministry leader and later as a Sunday School teacher in a member church of the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith. In 2006, she was consecrated by Bishop Lincoln C. Haughton, III in an unprecedented ordination ceremony that included women. She attended Ashland Theological Seminary intermittingly from 2002 - 2006 before moving with her family in 2007 to St. Augustine, Florida where she continued her studies at the Logos Christian College.

In 2007, Ericka White Ministries was launched and she became the host of Revealed - a Christian radio variety program that airs weekly on Jacksonville, Florida's WCGL-AM.
