Notifier or Notifier Fire Control Systems is a company that manufactures fire alarm equipment. It is located in Northford, Connecticut and is a division of the Honeywell company. Notifier has been producing fire alarm equipment for over 50 years. Many of their products range from manual pull stations, fire alarm control panels, and smoke detectors to be integrated with fire alarm systems. Many of the pull stations as well as other products, began to change in design and mechanics due to the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Examples of ADA made changes for the BG-12 series: Maximum reach height for a pull station is 48 inches for people with wheelchairs. Pull force to activate the pull station is 5 lbs. One of Notifier's current products, is the BG-12 series pull station.
