The Dictionary of Sydney is an ongoing project to create an electronic resource covering the history of Sydney, Australia, including people who lived in Sydney, places in Sydney and events that happened in Sydney. The project is a partnership between the City of Sydney, the University of Sydney, the State Library of New South Wales, the State Records Authority of New South Wales, and the University of Technology Sydney.

Heurist, developed by the the University of Sydney is the underlying technology for the project
