genre

I think the genre the genre should be changed to somthing more suitable. May I suggest Emo/Pop, or Emo/Punk

Not emo. Pop-punk or pop-rock is suitable, in my opinion.

funny video parody

Video Parody (@ Google Video)

Not sure if this video attained or will attain cult/pop culture status in relation to this songs' unintelligible lyrics. -Andrew 08:55, 15 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Tip: Don't post links to silly videos when you've had one too many Gin & Diet Sprites... -Andrew 18:28, 16 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I dunno mate, this parody is quite popular. User:CronoDroid

popularly misheard lyrics

"loaded god complex" or "loaded gun complex"?

I dunno, dya reckon this song could be about anti semitism? probably about their experiences as being shunned out of their communities and being thaught of as devils with the horns? what dya think?
It's "god complex," with a lowercase 'g'. God complex —paul?
dude i might be wrong but based on context it should be gun i mean " i'll be your #1 with a bullet a loaded gun complex cock it and pull it." really.

what about this, in the lyrics book that comes from the cd it says he wishes to be the "friction in his jeans" yet when you listen it's obviously not "his" but maybe "her" or "your" A typo in the printed lyrics? or maybe someone trying to make a gay joke.

Probably a typo. —Akrabbimtalk 23:24, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Pt. 2 Cover

Well, tooling around with WikiText for about 30 minutes, I could not figure out how to add to the bottom of the box for the Pt2 cover.. The image name is NonFreeImageRemoved.svg .Perhaps someone could help? -- Diehard2k5 01:21, 16 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There, I used the {{Extra album cover}} template. I did the same thing on Fall Out Boy/Project Rocket Split EP and From Under the Cork Tree. Oh, and could someone add some information about the second part? I personally didn't even know there was a second part. What's the point of showing the cover if we don't talk about what it's for. I saw it in the track listing, but I still don't know what it is. —Akrabbimtalk 20:49, 16 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
All it is is the second single released. The first single had a different B-Side than the second one. That's the only difference that I know of. -- Diehard2k5 00:25, 17 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well, if you figure out the release dates and information, it should be noted in the article. I don't know anything about that. —Akrabbimtalk 00:37, 18 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It's all on Amazon. They were both released on the same day. Diehard2k5 21:35, 19 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move

Shinigami Kamenzi attempted a cut-and-paste move, which I have since reverted. He tried to move it to Sugar, We're Goin Down, without an apostrophe at the end of 'Goin'. I agree with him that it should be moved, so I am formally proposing it.

Sugar, We're Goin' DownSugar, We're Goin DownRationale: The apostrophe at the end to 'Goin' is nonexistant in on most tracklistings of From Under the Cork Tree. —Akrabbimtalk 19:44, 26 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Survey

Add *Support or *Oppose followed by an optional one-sentence explanation, then sign your opinion with ~~~~
  • Oppose: without the apostrophe is incorrect. Bubba ditto 23:27, 29 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support: Despite the spelling "Sugar, We're Goin' Down" being more correct English, the track listing on the official CD album does not include the apostrophe in "Goin'" and neither does the title on the official CD single; both spell the title of the track "Sugar, We're Goin Down". Moved. -- Kim van der Linde at venus 21:13, 8 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move

"Sugar, We're Going Down" That is the correct name.[1][2][3] Why are there multiple songs by the same band with articles incorrectly titled? How did this slide? Lara♥Love 05:20, 8 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
1 - Fueled by Ramen webstore
2 - Fall Out Boy's official website discography
3 - MTV.com artist bio

Upon further research (and looking at the previous discussion above, which I totally did not see until I changed the name of this one), I see that while many sources state "Going", the album itself states "Goin". Therefore, I withdraw my request. Not that anyone seemed to care. ;) Lara♥Love 04:34, 18 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. ====================Song meaning=======================

Ok, at the Warped Tour in 2005 (and subsequently on some fansites), the band said this song was about masturbation. Should we maybe put that on this page? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ryanson209 (talkcontribs) 05:51, 27 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
