Sanpasaurus ("Sanpa lizard") is the name given to the mixed-up fossils of sauropod and ornithopod dinosaurs from the Middle Jurassic. The type species, S. yaoi, was described by Young, in 1944. It is a nomen dubium. A second species assigned to the genus, S. imperfectus, is also considered [[nomen dubium]. Parts of the fossils belong to animals from different genera, and as it now stands, Sanpasaurus is invalid.
