Igor Drljaca (born 1983 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina) is a Bosnian-Canadian film director and producer.[1] A graduate of York University,[2] he is a partner with Albert Shin in the Canadian film production firm TimeLapse Pictures.[3]
Career
As a director, he has made the feature films Krivina[2] and The Waiting Room,[1] and the short films The Battery-Powered Duckling, Mobilni Snovi, Woman in Purple, On a Lonely Drive and The Fuse: Or How I Burned Simon Bolivar, the latter of which was nominated for Best Short Documentary at 1st Canadian Screen Awards.
As a producer, he garnered a Canadian Screen Award nomination at the 3rd Canadian Screen Awards as coproducer of Shin's Best Picture-nominated film In Her Place.[4]
Drljaca is an assistant professor at the University of British Columbia's Theatre and Film dept.
