The Journal of The Electrochemical Society is a peer-reviewed scientific journal covering the field of electrochemical science and technology. JES has gone for #13 (2011 IF) to #11 (2012 IF) to #9 (2013 IF). JES sits among the most-cited journals in electrochemistry, coming in as the third most-cited out of all electrochemistry journals for 2013.[1]

JES has the shortest lag time from acceptance to publication among the journals in its field.[2]
