Prince Javanshir (Azeri: Cavanşir, literally "the young lion"; 635—669) was the Mekhranid ruler of the Girdman region in the Caucasian Albania. He fought against the Arab invasion of khalif Umar on the side of the Sasanid Iran. When in 642 Iran was defeated Javanshir tried to gain support of the Byzantine emperor Constans II.
