Linda "Lin" Clark (born 1 November 1949) is a rower who represented Great Britain from 1974 to 1987.[1] In the 1976 Olympics she rowed with Beryl Mitchell in the women's coxless pairs, then in the 1980 Olympics in the women's eight.[2] Her win with Beryl Mitchell in the women's lightweight double sculls at the 1985 World Rowing Championships was the first gold medal for a British women's crew at any championships. She won a gold medal for England at the 1986 Commonwealth Games, when the rowing was at Strathclyde Park.
Personal life
She is married to Jim Clark, British international rower and Olympic silver medallist.
