Maria mole (Portuguese pronunciation: [ma'ɾiɐ 'mɔli]; literally, "limp Mary") is a dessert popular in Brazil that is similar to a marshmallow. Maria mole's base ingredients are sugar. Sometimes, egg whites are also added. The most popular flavor is coconut, but others such as strawberry also exist.[1][2]
