Maurice Seezer (born September 1960 in Dublin) is an Irish musician. He studied piano, cello and harmony at the Royal Academy of Music and didn’t like punk. He went to Trinity College, Dublin to study the Bible, played piano in bars, and conducted the College singers.

He met Gavin Friday through a mutual friend and since 1985, they have collaborated on many musical projects, though most are released as Gavin Friday "solo" albums.
