Merfyn son of Rhodri (Welsh: Merfyn ap Rhodri, d. 900) was a late 9th-century prince of Gwynedd sometimes credited with ruling Powys following the death of his father Rhodri the Great in AD 878. In the accounts where he is credited with ruling Powys, he loses his realm after an invasion by his brother Cadell, lord of Ceredigion.
