Naphthomycin

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Naphthomycins are a group of closely related antimicrobial chemical compounds isolated from Streptomyces. They are considered a subclass of ansamycins.

Members include:

  • Naphthomycin A[1][2]
  • Naphthomycin B[3]
  • Naphthomycin C[3]
  • Naphthomycin D
  • Naphthomycin E
  • Naphthomycin F
  • Naphthomycin G
  • Naphthomycin H[4]
  • Naphthomycin I[5]
  • Naphthomycin J[5]
  • Naphthomycin K[6]
  • Naphthomycin L[7]
