Physiology and Behavior is a scientific journal published by Elsevier Science. It is an official journal of the International Behavioral Neuroscience Society.[1] The journal publishes peer-reviewed articles in the fields of behavioral neuroendocrinology, psychoneuroimmunology, learning and memory, ingestion, social behavior, and studies related to the mechanisms of psychopathology. Volume 1 appeared in 1966. Physiology and Behavior is included in major indexes, such as Science Citation Index, Scopus, and PubMed. According to the 2008 edition of the Journal Citation Reports, its 2007 impact factor is 2.561.[2]
