The article J-Hood (rapper) has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. MastCell Talk 21:26, 26 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of J-Hood (rapper)

A tag has been placed on J-Hood (rapper), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD a7.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Ridernyc 01:04, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive comments.

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Mims discography. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your original reference to the article. Contact me if you need assistance adding references. Thank you. Your message

Hi Signshare, in response to this comment, yeah I like Game's stuff too. His second CD is better than his first. Also, remember to post your messages on the person's talk page, not user page. And sign your messages with four tildes (~~~~). If you need any help or whatever, feel free to leave a message. Thanks. Spellcast 00:44, 6 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Since you opted to position your unsigned post right in the middle of another editor's comment, I have had to revert it. If you wish to use a talk page or help page, please follow posting instructions and talk page guidelines. The aggressive tone and incoherent style suggested that you posted in a knee-jerk reaction to something, which is never productive. Please stayl calm and observe Wikipedia:Etiquette. The very fact that you were able to edit any page other this talk page demonstrates that you are not currently blocked and had a block taken place, it would have included a notification here. Advice On Creating New Articles

Please read WP:MUSIC before creating anymore articles. I love the fact that you are contributing to wikipedia but you need to understand policy before creating articles. I have nothing against you or hiphop. In fact I have no clue who you are, your page is one of deozens that I nominated for deletion in one evening. Please do not edit my user page again, comment should be left on my talk page. Ridernyc 07:06, 10 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Warning

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, we remind you not to attack other editors, as you did on User:Ridernyc. Please comment on the contributions and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.

You're getting very close to being blocked. If you want to talk to someone, do it on their User_talk: page and not their User: page (or else it will be treated as vandalism) and you need to sign your posts. Also, Ridernyc is right, you're not allowed to use Wikipedia to promote yourself or music. It's a Wikipedia:Conflict of interest and all articles concerning artists must comply with Wikipedia:Notability (music). You're not notable just because you say you are, you're only notable when the media say you are. --  Netsnipe  ►  07:54, 10 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Inc. Records artists

A {{prod}} template has been added to the article The Inc. Records artists, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. NeilN 02:07, 12 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Mims' second studio album, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Mims' second studio album was previously deleted as a result of an articles for deletion (or another XfD)

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Mims' second studio album, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Stop Criticizing Me

I want to air out a few things I really do think that you people have gotten together to ruin all of my projects. If my list of Inc. artists shouldn't be posted, then who is to say Bad Boy should have a page or any other label with many artists what I am saying is maybe you should check other articles before you just check mine and you know the Fat Joe article only included his list of albums and HIS BEEF WITH GUNIT thats it and I find information and post it now someone is deleting that, they couldn't go find and post the info themselves, but they can change what I have done the way I see it is if you don't like my Fat Joe article create your own, established members can do that ya know. Now I want to get back to the Murder Inc. topic, every other labe with over twenty artists has a separate list of artists so how can mine not reach the standards when others do, am I lying about who they signed or something I mean its a freaking list thats all the information that it needs the actual history of them being signed is on the label's page and it is in the see also section which is just an extention of the actual page whoever is trying to ruin me YOU HAVE TO MUCH TIME ON YOUR HANDS, RELAX A BIT GO TO MCDONALDS AND BUY A HAPPY MEAL OR GO TO WALMART OR GO BUY A HAPPY MEAL FROM A MCDONALDS IN A WALMART just please leave me be I am trying to improve these articles was I bothering anyone when I simply made a list of who raps and sings on a record label or when I put a group album on a solo artist's page come on, a very pissed Signshare October 20, 2007.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, we remind you not to attack other editors, as you did on User talk:whpq. Please comment on the contributions and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

I removed only the information that was indicated as "rumoured". As per wikipedia policy on verifiability, information needs to be backed up with reliable sources. You claim that there were references and sources, but I deleted them. That is not the case. The version of the article I editted had no references. I've dug through the hostory and found this improperly formatted url which I beleive should be written as http://music.aol.com/popeater/2007/09/14/mims-plays-with-the-big-boys-readies-new-album/ In any case, its an AOL music blog that doesn't support the rumored material. -- Whpq 20:48, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you thought that then why didn't you write it as so instead of deleting my work, improve Wikipedia, but don't worry. There is a new encyclopedia site coming out soon and I am joining on over there and I am also launching my own and not to be mean don't ever log on to my site, like you'd even want to after how we've treated each other. But while I'm here I guess we have to agree to disagree, look I'm not saying that we have to stop arguing, but I won't vandalize or delete any of your work and I will not curse at you, but I want you to promise that you will not delete my work again, but I'd think it would be fun for us to argue a bit, some doctors say that it is healthy for people to argue and let their feelings out.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia. However, please know that editors do not own articles and should respect the work of their fellow contributors. If you create or edit an article, know that others are free to change its content. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. It would be inappropriate to promise not to delete each others work if that is the appropriate action to improve wikipedia. -- Whpq 13:13, 31 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you had really read what I had said I said that I won't delete your work as long as you don't delete mine and allow me to clarify what I said I said that we can from here on out keep our dispute on our talk pages respectively and that I won't curse at you or threaten you anymore. Signshare, November 1, 2007

As stated in the edit pages and WP:OWN, If you don't want your material to be edited mercilessly or redistributed by others, do not submit it., so it is quite simply inappropriate to promise not to delete each others work. If my contributions aren't appropriate to an article, I fully expect others (you included) to delete those contributions. If there is controversy over the material, it should be discussed on the article's talk page. That is all there is to it. Regards. -- Whpq 12:44, 1 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

But I didn't say I owned the page all I said was add not delete. You said edit not delete as you did to me. What I said is that the only form of retaliation that you will recieve from me will be on this page. I think that you might be trying to get me blocked for another week, but I won't let you I'll let my intelluctuality take over and you won't be able to handle my mind level. Signhare, November 1, 2007

Blocked

I have blocked you for one week. Edits such as this, this, and this are not productive at all. Perhaps consider taking the time to read WP:CIVIL. --Kinu t/c 22:19, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for blatant incivility. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.

Blocked

I know what I previously said was wrong but I said that to a few people that I have issues with, I didn't go out and vandalize pages, so I think that you should only block a person from the regular pages is if you vandalize those pages and if you check the page histories I have contributed a considerable amount to the Ja Rule, Fat Joe, Jay-Z, Mims (rapper), and created American King Music and Terror Squad Entertainment's respective pages. I suggest a new rule that lets say someone were to vandalize 50 Cent's page, but add great material to Ja Rule's page, then they sould only be blocked from 50 Cent's page, not Ja Rule's if that person has contributed a considerable amount, like I have to the Terror Squad pages and especially the Fat Joe and Mims pages. Signshare, October 30, 2007. Why can't I edit my own userpage. It is people like you that ruin America this is why I went out and did something for myself, I went over to Wikia and they granted me space to create my own encyclopedia, Tevapedia, the real free encyclopedia. My main goal will be to go in there and make it more popular than you guys over here at Wikipedia. Until my encyclopedia is fully launched you guys enjoy your successful run while it lasts because I am coming with my new crew and over there I run that. October 29, 2007, Signshare.

Re: Fat Joe

Thank you for complimenting me on the improvements I made to the Fat Joe article. Anyway, here are my main concerns I had for that article, as well as most other hip-hop related articles.

  • A lot of the criticisms/controversies listed on the article were poorly sourced, unbalanced, or downright borderline libelous - violating Wikipedia's policies on verifiability, neutral point of view, and biographies of living persons.
  • The article would've needed cleaning up for quality, but it wasn't tagged, so I just went ahead and cleaned it up with the power of free editing. Basically, there were some bad spelling/grammar and gratuitously repetitive information too.

Now, I tagged "needs more sources" under the "Conflicts" section because I was unable to find any reliable sources for beef with Jay-Z, but I think there can be some for the G-Unit/Terror Squad issues. If neither of us can find reliable sources for Fat Joe having beef with Jay-Z, then we should remove it immediately per biographies of living persons policy. Remember: "Controversial material about living persons that is unsourced or poorly sourced must be removed immediately, especially if potentially libelous." --Andrewlp1991 22:12, 11 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm seriously tired of editing your info on the page. I always see false info about his new album and such. Seriously, I've seen your edits on the page and it changes. I'm really tired of telling you that you should add the sources if an album is gonna be released. I'm getting mostly tired of people putting up false info about hip hop artists and you're becoming one of them. --Esanchez(Talk 2 me or Sign here) 01:20, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Mims (rapper), is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. This is especially important when dealing with biographies of living people, but applies to all Wikipedia articles. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your original reference to the article. Thank you. --Esanchez(Talk 2 me or Sign here) 01:31, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Again, that info is unsourced. Source that info so it can be notable. I will continue deleting it until sources are provided. --Esanchez(Talk 2 me or Sign here) 23:31, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RE

Well, it has a warning tag of putting false info on the page. I don't think that should be deleted. Anyway, you can delete this if you want but I also put that other message in there to say something about your edits on the page. --Esanchez(Talk 2 me or Sign here) 02:51, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, which are the tracks. I know some songs that feature him but appear on other albums. --Esanchez(Talk 2 me or Sign here) 23:17, 23 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I recommend to put up sources. Seriously, I keep deleting unsourced claims on many places and the MIMS page is one of them. Add a reliable source if you put up information like a new album. --Esanchez(Talk 2 me or Sign here) 23:28, 23 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Fan? Honestly, I just prevent vandalism on the page. I don't like much of his work... --Esanchez(Talk 2 me or Sign here) 23:58, 23 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of J-Hood (rapper)

A tag has been placed on J-Hood (rapper) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Jfire (talk) 16:43, 27 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for expanding the article. To avoid new articles being tagged for speedy deletion, you may want to create them first in a user sub-page or use the {{underconstruction}} template. As it was, the initial version did not assert notability. Jfire (talk) 16:56, 27 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Also, can you please remove your "battle list" on your user page? It violates WP:ATTACK. --NeilN talkcontribs 16:12, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Battle list

Hi Signshare - in response to concerns from other editors, I've removed the section of your user page that details other members of the community that you have "battled". Such material is not conducive to either smooth community functioning or the building of an encyclopedia, and it also included a number of personal attacks. Please do not re-insert it, and please don't hesitate to contact me on my talk page if you want to discuss this further. Sarcasticidealist (talk) 17:25, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I believe - indeed, I am quite certain - that I quote from WP:USER when I say "pages in user space still do belong to the community" and "community policies, including Wikipedia:No personal attacks, apply to your user space just as they do elsewhere." There is also a discussion about this at WP:ANI##User:Signshare_personal_.22battle_list.22, which you might want to check out. Sarcasticidealist (talk) 18:22, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for not revert-warring over this. If I can ever be of any assistance, please let me know. Sarcasticidealist (talk) 18:31, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

why does this continue?

Why didn't you source it in the first place? That would avoid a lot of hassle for you if you just put up the sources. Also, why was I in your "battle list"? Like a beef or something? The only problem I have with you is putting up possible-false information. --Esanchez(Talk 2 me or Sign here) 22:07, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Technically, we just had an argument. You didn't win because I didn't back down on your decision (someone else made the decision). So, no winners. --Esanchez(Talk 2 me or Sign here) 23:18, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Actually...

Just the title.... you never confirmed it and also, I was the one who sourced the making of the album. I knew he was making a second album (sourced it, again) but you made up so many names! Seriously, what are trying to say? --Esanchez(Talk 2 me or Sign here) 23:19, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of New York hip hop

A tag has been placed on New York hip hop requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.

KurtRaschke (talk) 01:30, 9 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Template:Mims

A tag has been placed on Template:Mims requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{transclusionless}}</noinclude>).

Thanks. --MZMcBride (talk) 21:40, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Mims' second studio album

An editor has nominated Mims' second studio album, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mims' second studio album and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 02:59, 26 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Mims' second studio album. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. --Esanchez(Talk 2 me or Sign here) 01:51, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Honestly, it was best the way it was. Why change it? It was previously debated. --Esanchez(Talk 2 me or Sign here) 01:54, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Um, that's why this page exists: Mims (disambiguation). So, it means it can go in many ways. --Esanchez(Talk 2 me or Sign here) 01:57, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No, other articles can mean that. Keep it up and I would have to block you from making any more edits. --Esanchez(Talk 2 me or Sign here) 02:01, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Look, I don't know how exactly that happen to be but propose the change, just don't change it all he sudden. (PS: I saw the edit of removing the AfD page from the album article). --Esanchez(Talk 2 me or Sign here) 02:05, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Call it whatever you want. I'm just following the rules. The page is nominated to be deleted and it cannot be altered to anything else unless an agreement comes across on the debate. If yount to redirect it, just say it on the debate. That's simple as that. Anyway, you received your last warning. So, I'm not gonna argue because they're is no point. --Esanchez(Talk 2 me or Sign here) 02:55, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Tevapedia, the real free encyclopedia

Hello to my fellow Wikipedians, as you may have noticed I have not been doing as many edits as I previously was. This is all due to the fact I have started an all-new encyclopedia, Tevapedia. Anyone can join my project, I have not too many rules, no drastic deletions of any texts, and references and sources are only optional. Tevapedia currently has 214 pages, if anyone wants to help me expand, feel free to let me know. Signshare, top Wikipedian, and Tevapedia's CEO AKA User:Drawl

Hello Signshare. I am concerned about your long standing history of adding content to WP:BLP articles that are not properly sourced, and in many cases appear to be incorrect. It is difficult to assume good faith when you have been doing this in such a subtle matter for so long. Page move

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently copied the contents of a page and pasted it into another with a different name. Specifically, you copied the contents of Detroit Panthers (ABA) and pasted it into Detroit Zafir. This is what we call a "cut and paste move", and it is very undesirable because it splits the article's history, which is needed for attribution and is helpful in many other ways. The mechanism we use for renaming an article is to move it to a new name which both preserves the page's history and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. In most cases, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. If there is an article that you cannot move yourself by this process, follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Requested moves to request the move by another. Also, if there are any other articles that you copied and pasted, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. --Geniac (talk) 17:24, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
