Richard Seymour is a defensive lineman that plays for the New England Patriots in the National Football League.

He was born on October 6, 1979. He played football for Georgia, and was subsequently drafted by the Patriots in the first round of the 2001 NFL Draft. He is listed as weighing 310 pounds, and wears the number 93. He has been selected to two NFL Pro Bowls, and is regarded as one of the best defensive lineman in the game.
