Bobby Äikiä was a 10 year old Swedish boy who in 2006 was tortured and killed by his mother and stepfather.

Killing

Bobby died after being first tied to a chair in the house of his stepfather Eddy Larsson and mother Niina Äikä, the stepfather then threw Bobby out still tied to a chair into the snow. Bobby froze to death. Both partners in crime the day later reported Bobby missing when as they said he disappeared after a visit to the local stores in Jönköping. Bobby's body was found in a nearby lake the next day under the ice after the mother had confessed. The manslaughter has gotten a lot of attention in Swedish media and many celebrities have shown their support for the mother and stepdad to be convicted for Bobby's death. Their was a foundation started in memory of Bobby.
