’’’Sopronhorpács’’’ is a village in Győr-Moson-Sopron County in Hungary.
Sightseeings
Parochial church
- The parochial church of the village has been buil int he 12th century in romanesque style. Its beautiful wastern doorway has been built around 1230 together with the southern nave.
The barocque towers were built in the 18th century.
Széchenyi castle
It has been built by the widow of Zsigmond Széchenyi between 1771 and 1774 között. I has been rebuilt by Ferenc Széchényi count and extended it with a library. Later renewed in barocque style. In this castle the famous Hungarian composer Ferenc Liszt pianist played sometimes.
