Srđan Škulić (7 September 1945 – 5 December 2021) was a Yugoslav and Serbian professional basketball player who spent his entire career with KK Crvena zvezda.[1]
Personal life[edit]
Škulić was born on 7 September 1945 in Belgrade. He graduated from the Second Belgrade High School and the University of Belgrade School of Electrical Engineering.[2] He married Tamara, with whom he had a daughter, Jovana. He died in Belgrade on 5 December 2021.
Career[edit]
He spent his entire career with KK Crvena zvezda, where he played from 1963 to 1971. During his career, he played 174 games and scored 277 points. With KK Crvena zvezda, he won the First Federal Basketball League in 1968–69 and the Yugoslav Cup in 1970–71. He played with Zoran Slavnić, Draganom Kapičićem, Ljubodrag Simonović, Miroslav Todosijević, Dragiša Vučinić, Ivan Sarjanović, Aleksandar Stanimirović, Vladimir Cvetković, Tihomir Pavlović, Dragoslav Ilić, Slobodan Popović, Dubravko Kapetanović and many others.
He played for the Yugoslav national under-18 team, when they were seventh at the FIBA U18 European Championship in Naples. During five tournament games, he recorded an average of 7 points per match.[3]
