Re: The article sentence Above the cornice, seemingly detacted from the cornice is a procession of men and animals. I'm not sure what detacted is supposed to mean. Detached? Still hard to understand if so. In addition, the sentence is awkward with the repeated cornice and possibly a missing comma.
yes, its detached. Spelling error. What the author meant was that the sculptures described are actually sculptured out of the same piece of material as the cornice, but are so finely done that they seem to be independent and just placed or glued on the cornice.Dineshkannambadi (talk) 19:45, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
