The Dangerous Summer is a 1960 book written by Ernest Hemingway. In it, Hemingway describes, with his own words, the bullfighting rivalry that took place that year between legendary bullfighters Luis Miguel Dominguin the second and his brother in law Antonio Ordonez. The two bullfighters wanted to prove who was better by each trying to kill the more bulls than the other during 1959.
