Trevor Fernandes (born November 21, 1949) is an American field hockey player. He competed in the men's tournament at the 1984 Summer Olympics.[1]

Career

He was born in Zanzibar City, Tanzania but had his schooling at St. Joseph's Convent School, Zanzibar. Later, he came to India and did his studies at St. Joseph's College of Commerce, Bangalore[2]. He represented the then Mysore State team in hockey and went on to played for all-India Universities team. He also played for the Indian team during 1972 to 1974[3]. He could not make it to the Indian Olympic team in 1972. Later, he moved to the United States of America where he got the citizenship in 1994 and was able to represent USA at the Olympic Games in 1994.
