¡Basta Ya!

¡Basta Ya! is a Spanish organization that was founded in 1999 and in which people from different political positions against terrorism - in particular those of the ETA - have united. They were also against the proposal of the former government of President Juan José Ibarretxe for a new statute of autonomy for the Basque Country ( Plan Ibarretxe ). She mainly organizes demonstrations.

In 2000, ¡Basta Ya! the Sakharov Prize . Members include Agustín Ibarrola , Fernando Savater (co-founder) and Rosa Díez González .

Between 2001 and 2005 the organization published 22 issues of the magazine Hasta Aquí (January 15, 2013, "Until here").

In May 2007, ¡Basta Ya! the political party Plataforma Pro , which later merged into the Unión Progreso y Democracia .
