Rolf Franke
Rolf Franke (born October 22, 1919 in Bremen ; † July 20, 1997 ) was a German entrepreneur and politician ( SPD ). He was a member of the Bremen citizenship and the Hessian state parliament .
biography
education and profession
After attending elementary, vocational and technical college, Franke went through construction and engineering school , which he graduated as a ship engineer. He then switched to the Bremen administration school. He initially worked as a union secretary. He later attended the commercial seminar in Hesse and worked there as a medium-sized mineral oil entrepreneur. In addition, he acted as chairman of the Bundesautobahntankstellen eV working group based in Bonn .
politics
Franke was a member of the SPD in Bremen and Hesse.
From December 29, 1959 to 1963, he was a member of the Bremen Parliament. Before that he was from 1955 to 1959 and then until 1963 in the Deputation for Justice and Prisons and at times spokesman for this deputation and from 1959 to 1963 in the Deputation for the Interior of the Citizenship.
Franke later switched to state politics in Hesse and became chairman of the working group for the self-employed in the SPD Hesse-South. From December 1, 1970 to November 30, 1974 he was a member of the Hessian state parliament.
