Ákos Kovács
Ákos Kovács (born April 6, 1968 in Budapest ), artist name: Ákos , is a Hungarian pop-rock singer and songwriter who was awarded the Kossuth Prize . Between 1988 and 1994 he was the singer in the band Bonanza Banzai .
Live and act
He comes from a family of lawyers and studied at the Budapest University of Economics. He gained great fame and popularity as the front man of the cult band Bonanza Banzai , with whom he released nine albums. His solo career began alongside the band, and he continued it with great success after the group broke up in 1994. In addition to the lyrics, he is largely responsible for the music on his albums, some of which have English-language versions.
In addition, Ákos Kovács is also known as a director of video clips and plays, as well as an actor and poet. So far he has published five volumes of poetry.
He is married and has four children.
