Álftavatn
Álftavatn is the name of at least three lakes in Iceland . Translated, this means Whooper Swan Lake .
- Álftavatn (suction) , the river Sog flows through it and lies between the Þingvallavatn and the Hvítá
- Álftavatn (Fjallabaksleið syðri) , is located on the highland route Fjallabaksleið syðri (F210), the Icelandic Hiking Association (FI) maintains a hut of the same name here
- Álftavatn (Norður-Múlasýsla) , is located in East Iceland about 10 kilometers west of Lake Lagarfljót
