Eternalism
The term eternalism refers to positions that last for an eternity; H. Postulate a non-decay or a non-change in time, certain objects or structures, which, depending on the context, can relate to various things, including:
- in texts of Indian philosophy on the belief in something permanent, in a permanent and causeless creator of all things or in the independent, permanent and individual identity or consciousness . The Tibetan term for this is tag pay ta wa, wyl. rtag pa'i lta ba . There are different types of eternalism, within the eleven systems of Indian philosophy, eternalism is explained using three hundred and sixty or sixty-two wrong views and summarized using five Tarka .
