Åke Smedberg

Åke Smedberg (born June 28, 1948 in Hjässberget , Sweden ) is a Swedish writer . Since 1976 he has published a number of books of poetry, short stories and novels. His three crime novels with the journalist John Nielsen as an investigator have been translated into German and have been published by Goldmann Verlag . He has won several awards in Sweden, including the 2001 Ivar Lo Prize and the Swedish Crime Prize for Best Crime Debut.
