The Çayboğazı Dam ( Turkish Çayboğazı Barajı ) is located in the hinterland of the Mediterranean coast in the southern Turkish province of Antalya .
The Çayboğazı dam was built in the years 1996-2000 at Çayboğazı Çayı 30 km southwest of the district town of Elmalı . It is used to irrigate an area of 13,848 ha. The barrier structure is a 79 m (above the valley floor) high earth embankment with a clay core . The dam volume is 10,667,000 m³. The reservoir covers an area of 2.25 km² and has a storage volume of 56 million m³.
