Éclair (company)

Éclair was a French film company and film camera manufacturer in Épinay-sur-Seine . The company was founded on April 22, 1907 by Charles Jourjon , Ambroise-François Parnaland , Clément Maurice Gratioulet and Marcel Vandal . In 1912 she started making cameras. These became world famous as Cameréclair, Caméflex, NPR and ACL. The company was bought by producer Harry Saltzman in the early 1970s and sold to Aaton , Grenoble , in the 1980s , which eventually dissolved the company.
