Émeraude class

Émeraude class ( French : emerald ) is the name of several classes of ships in the French Navy:

• Émeraude class (1906) was a submarine class during World War I. The boats were in service between 1906 and 1919.
• Émeraude-class (1940) was a submarine class planned in the 1930s. Due to the French defeat in 1940, the boats could no longer be built.
