Ísknattleiksfélagið Björninn is an Icelandic ice hockey club from Reykjavík that plays in the Icelandic ice hockey league.
history
Ísknattleiksfélagið Björninn took since the establishment of the Icelandic Hockey League in the 1991/92 season regularly at their gaming operations in part. Since 2011, a second team from the club has also been participating in the league under the name Hunar . In the 2011/12 season , the club became Icelandic national champions for the first time with 3-2 wins in the final series against Skautafélag Reykjavíkur . In the two following years, the first team reached the final, but lost to the Víkingar , the first team of Skautafélag Akureyrar , in the final series.
