L'île aux Nattes , malagasy : Nosy Nanto is a flat island on the east coast of Madagascar , located at the southern end of the island of Sainte Marie and separated from it only by a narrow boat passage, which is less than 100 meters at its narrowest point. The island belongs to the Analanjirofo region and has about 1500 inhabitants who live from fishing and tourism. You can dive and watch humpback whales off the island .
