The Austrian Society for Thermography (ÖGfTh) is the professional association for technical thermography and testing of building airtightness in Austria .

The company, based in Vienna , was founded in 1988 as an interest group. It should serve the exchange of experiences, information and further training of its members. This should be achieved through national and international contacts as well as seminars and conferences. Cooperations are maintained with universities and technical colleges. The annual Forum-Eugendorf (Sbg) is used for professional communication.

To create quality criteria, certification according to international standards for IR thermography and testing of building airtightness was created.

The ÖGfTh and its members are active throughout Europe. About one third of the members do not have their company or residence in Austria. The ÖGfTh is represented externally by Thomas Grünberger (President) and Günther Weinzierl (General Secretary).
