aims

The family as the nucleus and origin of every human community must not be synonymous with poverty, social exclusion, or be regarded as a recipient of alms. Families with children must again be an integral part of society and be viewed as a special value.

The family union program

Ensuring a contemporary quality of life for all families through grants, in the sense of a balance between "those who have children and those who have no children, but consciously or unconsciously benefit from the fact that others have them." The legal basis is the "Family Equalization Act of 1954" . The points of the program of the Austrian Family Federation are listed below:

  • Better compatibility of family and work through childcare allowance , increased part-time offers and childcare options tailored to the needs of the children
  • Family-friendly tax assessment by taking into account family size and income
  • Offsetting of the child-rearing periods to establish a pension
  • Social recognition of families as the basis of a functioning state
  • Social and financial help for families with marital and family conflicts, educational and school difficulties.
