Øystein Grødum (born February 15, 1977 ) is a Norwegian speed skater who specializes in long distances .

Øystein Grødum, who started for Arendal SK , made his debut at the World Cup in Hamar in November 1998 . Grødum has won World Cups three times so far (November 2006), including one with the team. There are also four further second places. Twice he was Norwegian champion, a further 12 times runner-up or third. He narrowly missed his greatest success as fourth on the 10,000-meter course at the Olympic Games in Turin . He also finished eighth on the 5000 meter course. At times he was trained by the starter coach Peter Mueller .

He lives with the Norwegian speed skater Annette Bjelkevik and is an athlete ambassador for the development aid organization Right to Play .
