Inter-linguality

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As on individual languages a linguistic unit or a particular feature is referred to a speech when it occurs simultaneously in different, unrelated usually individual languages.

The concept of co-linguistic is important when building an encyclopedia which tries to conceive terms in a co-linguistic way in order to place them in certain lexical relations . These connections exist regardless of the language in which the terms are referred to. This concept enables universal conceptual networks.

Cross-linguistic properties are the basis for the formulation of universals in the language typology .
