Überkinger sour springs

The Überkinger Sauer sources are in Bad Überkingen in the upper Fils Valley to the White Jura of the Swabian Alb springing sources .

The water from these springs is rich in carbon dioxide (" carbonic acid ") as well as various minerals and trace elements . Officially recognized as mineral water , it is currently bottled by Überkinger GmbH directly on site at the source in accordance with the Mineral and Table Water Ordinance .

The history of the Überkinger Sauerquellen goes back a long way: the springs were already in use in the 12th century, and in 1415 they were first mentioned in a document.
