Ünal Abalı

Ünal Abalı is a Turkish educator and specialist book author living in Germany.

Life

Ünal Abalı received his doctorate in 1978 from the FU in Berlin on the subject of "Turkish students at Berlin primary schools". Since the 1970s, Abalı, as an educationalist, has played a key role in developing the discipline of German as a second language , as he recognized it early on as a suitable “promotion of the formation of cultural personality and language acquisition” among foreign and immigrant students. Until October 2000 he was head of the department for didactics of the German language at the University of Ankara , then he became a lecturer in the department of general and comparative education at the University of Giessen .
